Interview with Jeff Corwin

Yes, you read that right. I, little old me, has a 15 minute interview set up with Jeff Corwin on Wednesday. EECK!!!!!!

How did this happen exactly? Well, Lunchables is teaming up with Jeff Corwin on the Lunch, Roar & Score Sweepstakes. And they need help promoting it. So they reached out to some mommy bloggers, and I happened to be one of the lucky ones! I can’t believe that I have such an exciting opportunity.

Now comes in the part where I need you, my loyal readers. I’m shy, super-duper shy and I’ll need some help overcoming being star-struck during the interview. I need to be prepared. I need questions, and lots of them. I have 15 minutes to fill!

So, what would you like to know about Jeff Corwin? What would you ask him if you had the chance (because you do!). It can be anything about the sweepstakes, his experience working with animals or how he fosters a love of animals with his own daughter.

And of course, I’ll be sharing this wonderful interview with you when it’s done. Complete with a fantastic giveaway. I can hardly wait.

Don't forget to stop by and enter my latest giveaways.

Bliss Challenge Week 1 – Declutter

One of my favorite blogs is Blissfully Domestic. There’s a little something for everyone, from kids crafts to fitness, entertaining to technology. It would hard to not find something to read and learn about. In fact, I think you’d actually have to try not to find anything.

Anyway, Blissfully Domestic is hosting a Find Bliss 2010 Challenge. Each week they post different weekly challenges an invite their reader to take part. This week, I’m up to the challenge. Which is…drum roll…to DECLUTTER one room in our house.

This is what I picked to declutter. It’s not a room exactly. It’s more like an area that collects junk. This is where the mail goes, the odds and ends that don’t have a home, the bread crumbs, things to shred. Pretty much everything in our house has at one point sat on this counter.

Before

Declutter

At least the diaper was clean.

Declutter

Hello overflowing basket of junk.

Declutter

Shred much? That would be a no.

Declutter

I wonder what else was living in there?

After

Declutter

Does it feel Blissfully Domestic to have this clean and organized? Actually, yes it does. Any guesses on how long it will stay this wa?

Next challenge, the linen closet. If I’m not back in 2 weeks, send help. Or just sell the house. It’s probably easier that way.
