Cookies, cookies, cookies. I love this time of year. Never mind the fact that the New Year is lurking just around the corner and I’ll be starting a new 30 day challenge. Yes, I’m giving up sweets and other yummy foods in an effort to be a healthier and happier (after I go through sugar with drawl) person.
But until then, enjoy these cookies. This recipe comes from my youngest sister. We made them during our cookie mania weekend and they are super good. Soft and chewy. And super easy. Perfect for the holidays.
Molasses Cookies
Mix in order given, sifting spices, baking soda and salt with the flour. Chill. Roll into balls and dip one side into colored sugar. Bake at 350-375 for 8-10 mins.
Hint: Make sure that you don’t roll the dough in the container of colored sugar, you don’t want raw egg on all of it. Right Cassie?
