Today I’m thanking my lucky stars that I have a healthy, active and of course brilliant little boy. Sure, he’s had his fair share of illnesses. From ear infections to oozing pink eye. The stomach flu (which he was kind enough to share) to colds. Broken legs to bumps, bruises and scratches. Bronchitis and nasty lingering coughs to mysterious fevers that disappear after a day. He has definitely had a chance to build up a immune system, ready to fight off the next illness to cross his path (please or please don’t let it be H1N1).

But over all, he has been blessed with a healthy body, a lively mind and a great curiosity for learning, exploring and general trouble making. And I’m so thankful for that.
